![]() I can't comment on Supertest as I'm sure you're aware, but your assumptions are pretty silly. They're more of a gimmick than anything to add a little bit of variety, hardly a core capability and certainly not a game changing one.Īs far as suggesting that anybody's making money from Supertest and that this is causing them to shill for WG, I think that's quite unfair and a misrepresentation of how Suptertesting works. (I'm already envisioning some silly person waiting around a corner in ambush to launch a single spread of torpedoes against an enemy destroyer - it will happen.) You're not going to hit anybody with torps unless they're playing stupidly or you're incredibly lucky. I'm happy if people want to buy a BB because it has torpedoes, but it strongly suggests to me that they don't really understand how to play the game. ![]() I'd say it's the most imbalanced ship in the game right now and it's a premium which you can buy for cash money. Talking about how a ship like Murmansk is fairly OP for its tier and has better torps than the Omaha is a much more sensible line of criticism. But I'm gonna throw this out here and say that anybody who is selecting battleships on the basis of whether or not they carry torpedoes more or less completely misses the point of driving a battleship. Of course WG makes money from selling premium ships, this is a given and they're gonna sell us some dumb ships over the next few years because they'll be popular enough to make money even though they're actually quite poor in-game. ![]() If you're getting free gold, you don't really feel like they're trying to take your money. Of course, some of the people here also 'make money' so to speak from Wargaming for Supertesting, which could possibly influence their outlook on the company's business methods. They really don't care what you, me, or anybody else thinks as long as we give them money. ![]()
